John and Sarah’s lower-level family room (with purple walls).
The space became much more inviting and comfortable for Sarah to host her friends.

Sarah, happy in her new space.

The upstairs family room.
John wanted to redo this underutilized space for entertaining and family time. After the redesign, the room felt warmer and more welcoming.

John’s remodeled dining room.
Before making changes to the dining room, the table was often covered with books and papers. Now, the space feels sophisticated and inviting, and is used regularly for meals and the occasional dinner party.

A vision board displaying goals, dreams, and aspirations.
I created a vision board on an easel at Mike Dooley’s Infinite Possibilities event in Santa Fe, NM.

My “dream house” vision board.
Years ago, I imagined my ideal living space, and many of my visualizations have become a reality.

Before and after photos of Beth’s home office.
Before the redesign, Beth’s office was cluttered, cramped, and overflowing with papers. Additionally, she could see the office from her living room, which subconsciously added stress and made it difficult to relax. We simplified the office, created a logical filing system, and opened up the space to improve the flow.

Before and after pictures of an apartment party room.
Previously, this room was cold, lifeless, and rarely used by the apartment’s occupants. Now, it has a fun, inviting feel and is well-balanced with yin and yang energy.

An example of a round, multi-faceted crystal.
This type of crystal is often used in Feng Shui to break up harsh energy or divert negative energy through refraction.

Converting my garage into a home office.
I created this space to hold my design resources and act as an area where I can create and design. After finishing my home office, I had a greater sense of clarity, business increased, and everything began to flow much more easily.

Kane residence laundry room.
Many people neglect utilitarian spaces in their homes, but these areas are energetically tied to the rest of the home and can either uplift or degrade the energy. To improve the energy of these spaces (and the rest of the home, in general), it’s important to intentionally make them functional, organized, and attractive.

A client’s remodeled bathroom with a solid quartz countertop.
Authentic rocks and minerals can be incredibly grounding and can offset other prevalent energies in a room.

A mirror placed to redirect energy.
If your home has a “missing piece,” one way to compensate for this imbalanced energy is to strategically place a mirror. More information about missing pieces (and extensions) can be found in my book’s chapter on the Bagua.

My home office.
During the COVID pandemic, I converted my garage into a home office. The process of relocating my office into my home was a journey that led me to increased clarity, focus, and direction in my business.

The Kane family’s remodeled bedroom.
After their children became adults, the Kanes decided to remodel their old bedrooms. They replaced childish features (bunk beds, old artwork) with more sophisticated and inviting furniture and accessories. We focused on creating a tranquil space that would be both functional and attractive.
